mischarmed: a skeptic's attempt to survive mere existence... "Truth is inconvertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is." ~ W. Churchill

in the end…

June 29, 2006

I am here, again.  Snglguy, I am doing my best in moving on.  I actually thought that I have moved on considering that I have decided to let go, be the whatever person and let things be.  I have accepted the decision, had no bitterness, and was moving on — when all these happened.

Perhaps it was my own doing as well.  I don't know.  Have I believed too much that people are innately good?  Just?  Good?  Having this habit of seeing the good in people even if they keep on putting you down is a tough decision to make.  When you come to face your worst nightmare come alive on a daily basis, it just maybe the thrill of the challenge of when the next volcano erruption would take place that makes it worth it.  Imagine ~ being a seismologist!

What was it that I have done wrong?  Being open?  Being honest?  Any regrets?  I tell you one thing.  In just as many mishaps that I have surpassed, I do not have any regrets.  Each shout, each accusation, each "seemed" mistake has taught me how to be who I am now, and I will not exchange that for anything in the world.  These things maybe fiction or hoax, it's your choice to see it from where you are sitting.  I respect that.  What matters is, in the end, I know what was real, and what was not.  And I learned.

Truth is incovertible.  Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.~Winston Churchill

What's important is we all learn our lessons, be it the hard way. I'm sure you'll be fine. I hope you'll feel better because tomorrow will be a better day :)

Fruit of the Spirit
Galatians 5:22-24
(22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, (23) Gentleness, self-control: against such there is no law. (24) And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

- Love: Outgoing concern for others. Consider the other person better than you, and serve him by looking out for his interest. Don't let your mind be drawn toward what may be considered to be the cause of an offence. True concern for all of mankind. Not being self-centered. Doing for others what is right, despite their character, appearance, social status, etc. (I Corinthians 13).

! Joy: Related to happiness, only happiness requires right circumstances where joy does not. Jesus Christ felt joy though He faced heavy trials (Hebrews 12:2). We should all be joyful having been called by God.

! Peace: peace of mind and peace with God (Philippians 4:6-7). Peace maker.

- Longsuffering (patience): Bearing with others who are working out their salvation. Being slow to anger (Romans 15:1; Luke 21:19).

- Kindness: Behaving toward others kindly, as God has behaved toward us (Ephesians 4:31-32).

- Goodness: Generosity of spirit that springs from imitating Jesus Christ (Psalm 33:4-5).

! Faithfulness: Being reliable. This describes a person who is trustworthy and will always stand up for God's way. We can count on, and should work at imitating, the faithfulness of God (Philippians 1:6; Hebrews 13:5).

- Gentleness: Considerate and tactful in conduct and correction. Never angry at the wrong time (Matthew 5:22-24; Ephesians 4:26).

- Self-Control: Discipline which gives us victory over the wrong pulls of our mind and body (I John 2:15-17).

Know what? After the dust settles, you'll still be there standing. :-)

"Have I believed too much that people are innately good? Just? Good? .."
Yes, it seems undeniable that you have. And that made you the person you are. Life goes on and you are moving on, don't let one person make you bitter. Reading your blogs, I realized that you are a world by yourselve, and you growed so much that where it is now can no longer have space for you. So, go out there, my young friend, spread your wings and fly like an eagle. Someone told me before, if you want to fly like an eagle, don't hang around with turkeys.
